Pick-up from your hotel will be between 6:30 am and 7:00 am. Once the group is complete, we will depart north. Our first stop will be in Chinchero, a picturesque town where we will see agricultural platforms, the remains of the royal estate of Túpac Inca Yupanqui and a beautiful colonial temple built on the bases of an Inca building. We will also observe the entire wool process, from washing to spinning beautiful textiles. We will continue our journey to the Salineras de Maras, where we will witness the natural process of salt extraction that dates back to the time of the Incas. At the end we will continue to Moray, where we will explore the natural depressions that were used as agricultural terraces for experimentation. Our next stop will be in Urubamba, where we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch. After lunch we will proceed to the Ollantaytambo Fortress, built to protect the entrance to this part of the valley and protect it from possible invasions by the inhabitants of the jungle. As a final point, we will go to the town of Pisac to visit the Pisac Archaeological Complex, built during the reign of the Inca Pachacutec. Its strategic location on top of a mountain offers a panoramic view of the valley that extends towards the Antisuyo region. At the end of the tour, we will return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 7:00 pm.
