CHOQUEQUIRAO TREK 5 DAYS

5 Days

OVERVIEW

Join us for an extraordinary adventure with Choquequirao Wasi Camp and explore one of the most remote and captivating corners of the Inca Empire. This 5-day, 4-night program includes a visit to the stunning archaeological site of Choquequirao on the third day.

Experience a journey where all meals and accommodations are provided by the local community, supporting their economic revitalization. Our camp, guided by an officially accredited tour guide, is strategically located along the route to Choquequirao.

We offer organized tours to this remarkable site, ensuring a comprehensive and immersive experience. As a 100% local operator based in the district of San Pedro de Cachora, we provide access through the most popular and secure entry point to Choquequirao.

In addition to everything included in the 4-day, 3-night program, this extended version allows you to spend the final night in our mountain cabins. These cabins offer breathtaking views of the Apurimac Canyon, one of the deepest canyons in the world, and the Padreyoc Mountain, part of the Central Vilcabamba mountain range.

This extended program provides more time to fully appreciate the natural beauty and historical significance of the area, guided by our knowledgeable and dedicated team.

Horse to Ride

  • If you want to rent a horse to ride, it is an extra 200 soles for the entire trip.

  • Entry ticket: 60 soles for adults (national or foreign), 30 soles for students with ID (national or foreign).
  • First Sunday of each month: Entry free for passengers identified with Peruvian national ID.

Additional Costs

  • If you want to save money, you can buy bottles with water filters or water purification tablets at pharmacies.
  • Hot shower and Wi-Fi have extra cost.

What to Bring

  • Bring only what is necessary for 4 days of personal clothing, very comfortable hiking shoes with a good sole so that you do not slip (cutting your toenails).
