The Sacred Valley of the Incas is located in the Urubamba province in Cusco, Peru. It is one of the most beautiful travel destinations of Peru, since there are many fascinating sites and natural landscapes to explore! You can find charming traditional villages settled since colonial times, and plenty of ancient Inca citadels. Explore the heart of the Sacred Valley during our Full Day Excursion, and visit the sacred archeological sites of Pisac and Ollantaytambo!

  • Start/End Time: Pick-up at 8 AM, and drop-off around 6PM
  • Keep in Mind: Entrance ticket to the ruins is not included (US$ 22 per person)

Our transfer staff will pick you up at 8:00/8:30am at the Cathedral of Cusco in Plaza de Armas, so we can start our journey to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, driving along the Urubamba river. We will first visit the archaeological site of Pisac, which is a complex of terraces, fountains, observatories and a necropolis. We will admire spectacular views of the Sacred Valley, and our local guide will share his knowledge about the Inca history and culture. The Inca site is built on top of a mountain that towers over the small town of Pisac; the views of the countryside are spectacular and the ruins are remarkable. We will then visit the artisanal market of Pisac and continue our journey to Ollantaytambo. The Inca complex of Ollantaytambo was built to protect the valley from invasions from the rainforest. In the afternoon, we will take our transportation back to your hotel in Cusco.

  • Pick-up at the entrance of the Cathedral of Cusco, and transportation for the day.
  • Transportation back to Cusco (drop-off at Plaza San Francisco).

  • Entrance ticket to the ruins is not included (US$ 22 per person). Please let us know in advance in case you do not have the Touristic Entrance Ticket.

Our guide Rubén Zavala was fantastic, always in a great mood, spoke great English and looked after everyone in our group, making sure we were all ok throughout the days. I really cannot recommend him highly enough. Thanks Rubén!

The scenery throughout was amazing, the food was good and I met some great people. 🙂
