ACAMPAMENTO LUCMABAMBA

Lucmabamba is the third base camp on the Salkantay route to Machu Picchu, located at an altitude of approximately 2,100 meters (6,890 feet). This camp provides panoramic views from its domes and is conveniently close to the Cocalmayo hot springs. Hikers on the 5-day trek will continue their journey from Lucmabamba to Llaqtapata, enjoying the scenic beauty and natural hot springs along the way.
